Explications à propos du “BEST OF THE BEST FIAP”

Explanations about “BEST OF THE BEST FIAP”

First of all, here is a little explanation about the title of « Best of the Best FIAP » :

You hear to speak sometimes about some title as « Best photographer of the year”, for instance, by the National Geographic or others great magazines specialized in photography. OK, I don’t contest these honors that are assigned to photographers of high quality (Nature or other). Although the assignment of these honors is assigned after several tours of judgments, they are awarded by only one jury composed, of course, with several high-level judges; but the most often in a same country.

The title of « Best Author » awarded by the Federation Internationale of the Photographic art (I will now say FIAP to abridge) is gotten when a photographer got the more of acceptances (about, the more of better notes) in all sections of an international contest. In an international contest patronized by FIAP, it can have a maximum of 6 sections there: Open Color, Open Monochrom, nature, travel, journalism and a section at special theme as child, street photos, etc… Therefore, to be « Best Author » it’s necessary to be a very good photographer in all categories. Actually, the FIAP patronizes the international contests in 92 countries of the world, on the 5 continents. The photographic sensitivity is not the same in the various parts of the world; but every sensitivity must be respected. The photographer who sends his photos in these contests must take into account it.

The title of « Best of the Best FIAP » is assigned to the photographer who got the more of « Best Author » in one year.
In 2016, there were more than 350 international contests in the world, patronized by FIAP. I participated in 232 contests on the 5 continents and I was 34 times « Best Author. »
The Board of Directors of FIAP has just informed me that I am the « Best of the Best » for the year 2016, preceding of very far the second author. The FIAP invites me to receive this supreme trophy, at the time of its congress, in next August, in South Africa.

So, my friends, I inform you that I am « BEST OF THE BEST FIAP. » Knowing what I wrote you above, it’s to a certain extent: « CHAMPION OF THE WORLD ALL CATEGORY » for the year 2016 and I also add for 2017 (I knew it after to have written this article).

Thank you to all those that supported me !

PS for information: FIAP is the only world photographic organization recognized by the UNESCO! (Sorry, not the famous National Geographic!)
